What exactly is Amazon Prime Day?

It’s a bit like black Friday but only for Amazon prime members. Prime members will get large discounts on all kinds of eligible products for a limited period of time. This is the 4th annual prime day. Previous days only lasted 24 hours however in 2018 it will be for 36 hours.

It’s pretty much a marketing play for their prime service. However it is a smart one; Amazon gains lots of attention to their service and customers can take advantage of deals.

Last year it was their biggest sales day beating out both cyber Monday and black Friday.
